■What is a quantumbeam? Using innovative quantum beams, we are conducting research and development of new process technologies, evaluations, and simulation technologies used in the fields of nanotechnology and life sciences. For example, we are conducting research using various quantum beams such as cluster ion beam, which are aggrigates of numerous atoms or molecules and heavy ion beam with a very large energy of 10 MeV. |
■Innovative nanoprocess / evaluation technology By utilizing the unique characteristics of quantum beams, it is possible to realize new nanoprocesses and evaluations that were not possible before. For example, it is possible to realize nano-level processing technology used in next-generation microdevices and molecular imaging of biomaterials. |
