Interactions between radiations and materials

 Radiations can be devices for introducing energy with high density in materials. We take radiation detectors as the devices for observing the way of radiations giving energy to materials, and the way of energies spreading in the materials.

 With the studies on the interaction between radiations and materials, we are able to contribute to the three dimensional fabrication in sub-nano scale, and also to the observation of femto-second phenomema, in future.

 We are trying to develop X ray detectors with high energy resolution. Our speciality is to develop X ray detectors with larger active area, which have high energy resolution. For this purpose, we have been studying on superconductor detectors, p-
Si detectors, compound semiconductor detectors.

 Recently, we started develpoing devices with flurene, and high performance X ray detectors for low exposure C
T examination.
